Roscoe Brown Installs HVAC System In Habitat for Humanity Home

Roscoe Brown Habitat for Humanity photoRoscoe Brown was extremely pleased to donate a complete HVAC system to a Habitat for Humanity home that is being built in Murfreesboro.   Along with the donation of the heating and cooling system, 15 Roscoe Brown employees and their family members volunteered their time over a recent weekend to complete the whole system installation.  Everyone had a great time and felt it was a personally enriching experience to give back to the community. Ms. Yvonne Summers, the recipient of this Habitat home will soon feel the pride of home ownership for the first time.

YVONNE SUMMER & JAMIEMs. Yvonne Summers is a resident of Murfreesboro and is very excited about being a homeowner! She applied in the fall of 2010 and was accepted in the Habitat program by January 2011.  Once accepted, she immediately started attending the Homeowner Education Classes, working on her sweat equity, and helping other families in the program.  Ms. Summers is looking forward to having a special place for her grandchildren to visit, a yard for a garden and her own time to relax.  “Before I leave this earth, I can say I owned something,” she said with a smile.  Everyone at Roscoe Brown is so happy for Ms. Summers and  wishes her the absolute best in her new home.
